As the COVID-19 pandemic was taking the world by storm, Liz Schneider watched how her local community was being impacted and the struggle that those were facing. Now, more than ever those in need and the local homeless were needing help.
Not being sure how to help, Liz turned to her kitchen and started putting together freshly made lunches. She packed up her car and headed to the Atlantic City bus station. Once there, she saw a group of homeless and started to distribute the packed lunches. The group of people were so thankful and happy to receive a freshly made meal.
The next day after seeing such a great response, Liz packed up more lunches and headed back to the station - and once again, the gratitude was flowing. Soon enough, this became a daily occurrence and her neighbors started to take notice. Once her neighbors and friends started to hear about this, everyone started pitching in. From people making lunches and helping deliver and distribute, to monetary and clothing donations, this became a community affair.

​In August 2020, the Street Love Foundation became an official 501c3 charity. 

Since then, we have completely taken off. As an organization, we spend our days giving back to the more unfortunate, hard-working people. We help anyone experiencing food or clothing insecurity, financial troubles, etc.
